What is Kolo Bakery?

Kolo Bakery started as a mobile bakery in Ukraine/Poland. Circumstances in Ukraine brought Anastasia to Canada in 2022, where she met Sherwin. Together, they created Kolo Bakery, with the vision of sharing our passion for macarons/pastries to everyone in Calgary.
What is a Ukrainian macaron?
They're just like French macarons, but bigger! Larger cookies make room for more mouth-watering fillings. More fillings means compound flavours... imagine raspberry swirled in with pistachio. Where one bite of mango meets a hint of passionfruit. Gluten-free & comes in eleven flavour possibilities!
What does Kolo mean?
"Kolo" means circle in Ukrainian. The perfect way to describe our macaron goodies, while speaking to our values of friendship & community. Each macaron is handcrafted with care & commercially-made right in the heart of East Village.
